In connection with the sale of batteries or the delivery of devices containing batteries, we are obliged under the German Battery Act (BattG) to inform you of the following:
1. Return of Used Batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. As an end user, you are legally required to return used batteries. You can return old batteries that we carry or have carried in our product range free of charge to our shipping warehouse (shipping address) or send them to us by mail with sufficient postage.
2. Meaning of Battery Symbols
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin. This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste.
Below the waste bin symbol, you may find the following abbreviations indicating the battery contains specific hazardous substances:

Pb = Battery contains lead

Cd = Battery contains cadmium

Hg = Battery contains mercury
